Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information OpenStatsMc collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the hosted Service at openstatsmc.com.

01Information we collect

Account information. Your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Server and player statistics. Data your Minecraft server sends us through the OpenStatsMc plugin, which may include player usernames and UUIDs, session times and playtime, kills/deaths and block counts, server performance (TPS, memory), client versions, and — unless you disable it in the plugin — player IP addresses.

Payment information. If you buy a paid plan, payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive limited billing details (such as plan and status) but do not store your full card number.

Technical information. A session cookie to keep you logged in, plus basic server logs (such as request metadata) used to operate and secure the Service.

02How we use information

• To provide the Service — collect, store, and display your statistics;
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• To send you account and transactional emails (verification, password resets, receipts, important notices) from a no-reply address;
• To process payments and manage your subscription;
• To monitor, maintain, and improve the Service and prevent abuse.

02bPlayer data and your responsibility

When you run a server on OpenStatsMc, you decide what your server collects about your players. For that player data, you act as the controller and OpenStatsMc processes it on your behalf. You are responsible for telling your players what you collect and for having any consent required by law. You can reduce collection at any time — for example, by turning off IP tracking in the plugin config.

03Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie so you stay logged in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

04How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate OpenStatsMc, under appropriate safeguards:

• a payment processor to handle subscriptions;
• an email provider to deliver account emails;
• a content delivery / security network (Cloudflare) that fronts our site.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of OpenStatsMc and its users.

05Data retention

We keep your account and statistics for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your account, your servers, and their statistics. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records).

06Your choices and rights

• Access and update: view and edit your details on your profile page.
• Delete: delete your account and data at any time from your profile (confirmed by email).
• Reduce collection: disable IP tracking or placeholder collection in the plugin config.

07Security

We protect your data with measures including hashed passwords, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and hashed, single-use, expiring tokens for sensitive actions. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

08Children

OpenStatsMc is intended for server owners and administrators and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Player statistics come from your server, not from the players signing up here — see the player-data section above.

09International processing

OpenStatsMc may process and store data on servers located in different countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
